Jill Jones Named President and Chief Executive Officer of Cengage Learning EMEA
Cengage Learning, one of the world’s largest providers of print and digital information services for the educational and library reference markets, has appointed Jill Jones president and Chief Executive Officer of Cengage Learning EMEA.
As president and CEO for Cengage Learning in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ms. Jones will focus on the growth of the business with an emphasis on expanding digital solutions capabilities in the region. Based in the London office, Ms. Jones will report to Jerry Elliott, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Cengage Learning. In this role, Ms. Jones will oversee the EMEA operations, and the senior management team for EMEA will report to her.
Ms. Jones brings a wealth of leadership experience from her successful career within companies such as Pearson Education, Addison Wesley-Longman and Prentice Hall. In addition, from 2003 to 2006, she served as General Manager for Library Reference EMEA and latterly was vice president of Learning Resources for Thomson Learning International (now Cengage Learning).

Most recently, Ms. Jones has been running her own consultancy practice and has completed assignments for notable clients in the Higher Education, School and Library Reference markets.
Ms. Jones has a 1st Class Hons degree from University College, London UK and also holds a Post-graduate Certificate in e-business from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
