Statement on Chegg Security Breach

“Chegg informed our company yesterday that they are investigating a security breach of their systems which occurred in late April. Chegg does not believe this impacts Cengage customers, since our partnership with them began in August after this incident occurred. We take the security of our customers’ data seriously and our systems do not share their data with our partners unless the customer gives us permission to do so. Since learning of this incident, we have been working with Chegg to ensure our customers remain protected.”
