Today’s Technology in Tomorrow’s Classroom

Course Technology held its 13th Annual National Conference from March 12th through March 14th in Nashville, TN with the overall theme “Power Up”. This year’s Conference hosted more than 500 technology educators and administrators from universities, community colleges, career and high schools worldwide.

The conference focused on new ways to incorporate today’s technology in tomorrow’s classroom with sessions exploring the latest technologies, leading edge assessment and training solutions, and innovative approaches to engaging today’s students.

With more than 70 educational sessions and hands-on labs, the Conference also featured the unveiling of the latest version of Course Technology’s leading assessment and training solution, SAM 2007 v3.0. Attendees had the opportunity to be the first to test-drive the newly enhanced product, as well as a host of other Course Technology key technology solutions.

Key topics of this year’s conference included sessions and labs on the features of new software applications including Microsoft Office 2007, Widows Vista, Adobe Creative Suite 3, and Expression Web; tools for incorporating assessment into the classroom; ideas for adapting the intro course and engaging students, and much more.
