Donations to Benefit Detroit’s Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program

Plymouth, Mich – July 22, 2015 – Hundreds of Michigan residents and employees from Farmington Hills-based Gale, a part of Cengage Learning, will gather in Plymouth’s Kellogg Park next week for an early morning exercise session to raise money for The Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program in Detroit. The Gale Charity Challenge event – an exercise flash mob for charity – will take place during Gale’s annual sales meeting being held in Plymouth. Employees will donate money to participate and the event is expected to raise $15,000 for Downtown Boxing Gym’s Youth Program which focuses on “books before boxing,” community service and gives students access to tutoring and educational resources. Gale will also donate products to support research and learning in the gym’s workstation computer lab.
