Cengage Learning Acquires Concept Media
Acquisition expands Delmar’s offerings for nursing and allied health customers
Delmar, a part of Cengage Learning and the leader in skills based solutions for educational institutions, businesses and professionals, announced that it has acquired Concept Media, a producer and distributor of award winning education media for colleges, healthcare institutions, social service agencies and counseling centers worldwide.
Concept Media’s digital media library of education materials will be integrated into the healthcare group within Delmar’s Career and Professional Division complementing the existing product line of training and reference information for allied health and nursing customers. The addition of more than 500 Concept Media programs to Delmar’s vast offerings in nursing education will provide even greater choice of content and media format to students and instructors within the core nursing and allied health subject areas.

Concept Media shareholders were represented by The van Tulleken Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quayle Munro Holdings PLC. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
