NetLearning Delivers Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation; a Comprehensive Online Course Focusing on Fundamentals of Nurse Management

Popular web-based course now available to hospitals and individual learners through NetLearning’s Learning Management System

Developed by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation, is the first online course of its kind for nurse manager training. Available to hospitals and individual learners, the easy-to-navigate program consists of eight modules that provide frontline managers, charge nurses, aspiring managers and staff leaders with the skills needed to become successful nurse leaders, including business management, leadership skills and personal development. Designed with busy professionals in mind, Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation is conveniently accessible through an internet connection and aims to train professionals to improve quality of care, manage staff attrition, prepare budgets, coach and mentor and ensure a healthy work environment.

Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation is a structured learning program built around the Nurse Manager Learning Domain Framework and is designed to help prepare nurses to sit for the Certified Nurse Manager/Leader (CNML) exam. Upon completion of the curriculum, learners will achieve 40 CNE hours.  The three units of the program include:
