New Books Help Professionals Get Off to a Successful Start in Management, Project Management and Fundraising
Course Technology PTR, part of Cengage Learning, today introduced a series of books designed to help new executives succeed in their roles. 90 Days to Success as a Manager, 90 Days to Success as a Project Manager and 90 Days to Success in Fundraising are the first three titles now available in the 90 Days to Success Series.
The new titles are written by experts in their respective fields and provide action plans and strategies for success that will help new managers succeed in the crucial first 90 days on the job.
- 90 Days to Success as a Manager teaches first-time managers and supervisors all about managing people, processes and technology through a real-world, fact-based approach. The book includes insights from the author’s 30 year career — which has taken him from management trainee to CEO with the help of many mentors and coaches along the way.
- 90 Days to Success as a Project Manager teaches new project managers how to hit the ground running, regardless of the industry or duration of the project.
- 90 Days to Success in Fundraising introduces readers to the keys of successful fundraising by identifying and opening gift and grant revenue streams, yielding better results from campaigns, and increasing donor participation.
“I’m excited to be a part of the new 90 Days to Success Series from Course Technology PTR,” said Tony Meola, CEO of Saxon Mortgage Services and author of 90 Days to Success as a Manager. “During these tough economic times, it’s important that new managers ‘protect their desks’ and these books will help them do that.”
All three 90 Days to Success retail for only $19.99 and can be found at bookstores nationwide. They can also be ordered direct online at www.courseptr.cengage.com.
