New Perspectives Book Series Features Opposing Viewpoints on Key Business Topics
Multiple Authors Share Contrasting Sides of the Story in Marketing, Branding, Management & Sales
Course Technology PTR, part of Cengage Learning, today announced the publication of Perspectives, an innovative new book series for sales and marketing professionals covering topics such as marketing, branding, managing employees, and increasing sales.
A total of four books currently comprise the Perspectives series, with each book written by two or more authors from opposing perspectives, such as agency/client, seller/prospect and employer/employee. The authors engage in a stimulating dialogue on a variety of business topics in a question/answer format. In order to provide readers with the most candid and unfiltered information possible, the authors were not permitted to collaborate during the writing process. The result is both thought provoking and enlightening.
“The aim of the Perspectives series is to provide readers with insight and information that they can employ in their current and future business relationships, whether on one side of the fence or the other,” says Jason Miletsky, series editor and co-author of two Perspectives books. “I believe that readers will learn a great deal about all facets of business and apply what they’ve learned to their day-to-day business practices.”
The four books in the series include:
- Perspectives on Marketing examines over 100 compelling and important issues that affect marketing professionals on a regular basis, such as how to best measure ROI, how to determine the best means for reaching an audience and how to craft the most effective message.
- Perspectives on Branding provides valuable insight and understanding on what embodies a brand and the sometimes delicate client/agency relationship through war stories and frank conversations representing these two points of view.
- Perspectives on Managing Employees teaches front line managers, strategic decision makers and business owners to understand the long-term value in managing their employees properly. Topics include on-boarding, relationship building, celebrating success, problem management and much more.
- Perspectives on Increasing Sales provides business leaders with insight on the sales process and proven sales techniques that continue to help businesses grow.
Each book in the Perspectives series retails for $29.99 and can be found at bookstores nationwide.
